During the pandemic, vaccine centres were required at an unprecedented rate. The need for simple, repeatable yet effective design was key to the fast roll out of these crucial centres. This work required knowledge of optimum patient flow and a deep understanding of both user and client requirements that took into account the unique requirements that the Covid-19 pandemic introduced such as social distancing and the separation of not only patients but staff as well. Our work included reviewing buildings and determining whether they would be appropriate for the specific requirements that the centres needed. The buildings selected included the Black Country Museum, pharmacies, football stadiums, leisure centres and various other locations throughout the West Midlands.
